Services Supplement for CMMI® Version 1.3
The Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering (CESE) in collaboration
with Abridge Technology, invites you to attend the Software Engineering Institute’s
(SEI℠) “Services Supplement for CMMI® Version 1.3”.
Objective
This 1-day course will provide you with a fundamental understanding of CMMI® Service
(SVC) v1.3 and detailed insights into the service specific elements of this constellation.
CMMI® Service has been designed to help service organizations benchmark their processes
and will be useful to service providers, process improvement group members, appraisal
team participants, and anyone interested in this model. This course is an SEI requirement
for anyone intending to participate on a SCAMPI℠ appraisal team member for CMMI-SVC.
Prerequisites
Attendees must have completed the Introduction to CMMI® Version 1.3 course (view
the CMMI® Version 1.3 course offering) or the Introduction to CMMI-DEV®
Version 1.1 or 1.2 and the CMMI® Version 1.3 Upgrade Training courses. The Introduction
CMMI-DEV® Version 1.3 is a separate offering at Fraunhfoer held in the days prior
to this Service course.
Organizer
Dr. Richard Bechtold, president of
Abridge Technology, is a process improvement consultant and has been performing
SEI-based assessments and appraisals since 1992. Dr. Bechtold is also an adjunct
professor at George Mason University, Virginia, and teaches graduate-level management
and engineering courses. Abridge Technology is an SEI Partner.

(CESE) is a not-for-profit affiliate of the University of Maryland in College Park.
